About
Jonathan Gayman is a corporate photographer located in New York City with a focus on corporate and enterprise photography. His keen eye for light and composition fuel thoughtful and inspired photography, whether he is shooting in New York, or on location around the country. His work has appeared in national publications such as Leaders and Fortune magazine
After graduating from the Harrisburg Area Community College in his home state of Pennsylvania, Jonathan spent a year designing for an in-house graphic design department for Capital Blue Cross, in Harrisburg, PA.
In September 2000, Jonathan left Blue Cross and moved on New York City where after doing contract work for Chase Manhattan, he was hired by Ernst & Young where his current position is Senior Design Consultant and Photographer.
Photography was always a passion, and when given an opportunity to make the switch from design to photography, Jonathan made the leap. His top level design sensibilities help make him an innovative and effective photographer. His understanding of how photography will be used in print and on the web adds dimension and insight to his work.
He currently resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and isn’t at all concerned with the fact that he’s talking in the third person. He does this frequently and his friends pretend not to notice. His biggest secret is that he sometimes listens to the worst sort of pop music when he’s working.
